RE: Finishing Projects

I finally cracked down and got the mosaic done! First it was a lot of fun to do but I think looking back I should have done a much smaller piece to start with! It took quite awhile and I still have to varnish this but all in all it's done!  I really like doing things like this and as you can probably tell, TIME was the theme here with all the little watch bits and pieces. This mosaic measures 6x12" and was done on slate so the piece is pretty substantial. I used dusty plums, blacks, silvers, coppers, golds and brassy tones to give it deeper hues. It's embellished with several charms I collected over the weeks and also decorated with beads here and there. I hope you like it, and thanks for stopping in!
